Start with the genres you enjoy
Browse film and TV genre communities and join the ones that interest you. You can choose communities during setup or find them later, without needing a ready-made group of friends.
Join a conversation or start your own
Post a discussion, reply to other fans and react to their contributions. Explore shared reviews and discover films through the people taking part. Respect spoiler boundaries when talking about plot details.
Choose what you share
Joining a community does not switch on public review sharing. Around Flixie is an optional sharing setting for eligible reviews and public lists. Published discussions and replies are visible to eligible users beyond your friends; watch history, watchlists and Watch Plans are not included in public feeds.
Questions about film & tv communities
Do I need friends on Flixie to join a community?
No. Communities give you a way to discover other film and TV fans before adding friends.
Does joining a community make my diary public?
No. Joining does not enable public review sharing, and your watch history, watchlists and Watch Plans are not included in public feeds. Check your profile and sharing settings for other visibility choices.
What happens to my discussions if I leave?
Leaving a community does not permanently delete contributions you published. You can delete your discussions and replies individually in the app.
